Scope of work:
This design aims to shield the RealSense D415 depth sensor from outdoor precipitation,
particularly in cold weather environments with a high likelihood of snow and rain.
Key Features:
• Water and Snow Protection: The cover ensures the sensor remains shielded from water and snow during operation.
• USB-C Connection Pocket: A designated pocket is integrated into the cover to facilitate easy access to the USB-C connection without compromising protection.
• Optimized Mechanical Layout: The mechanical layout is meticulously designed to align the center section of the sensor with the center of rotation.
This allows for precise adjustments and optimal performance.
• Hinge Mechanism: The hinge mechanism enables rotation of the sensor, aligning the scanning plane parallel to the ground for efficient operation.
